THEY WANT TO DISTABILIZE OUR PROGRAM, IPOB ALERTS

THE Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has raised the alarm over an alleged plot by security agents to unleash mayhem on its members during a planned peaceful remembrance of Biafrans who died since 1967 slated for May 30th.
In a statement signed by IPOB Media and Publicity Secretary, Mr. Emma Powerful alleged that security agents have perfected plans to unleash mayhem on pro-Biafra agitators for no just cause.
“We have discovered, with great dismay, indiscriminate plans to kill Biafrans on May 30 as IPOB members, under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, plan the peaceful remembrance of Biafrans who died since 1967 till date .
“IPOB condemns this and we are using this medium to let the world know that they have perfected plans to bring down northern soldiers to Biafran land on May 28.
“These soldiers will come to Biafra with land marines and different security agents. Meanwhile, they have been ordered to shoot at sight and make sure the peaceful remembrance of the Biafran heroes and heroines will not hold and, also, they were asked to take over the bridge in Onitsha.
“We, know that other countries of the world like America, Britain, France, Germany and Israel remember their fallen heroes and heroines who died in one way or the other during the war even Nigeria does Army remembrance day without remembering Biafrans who died during the Biafra /Nigeria civil war,” he stated.
“In line with this, IPOB is calling on world leaders, United Nations (UN), African Union (AU) America, France, Russia and Israel, International Criminal Court (ICC), Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and all the relevant Human Rights Organisations and world press to come and watch the peaceful remembrance of our fallen heroes and heroines who died during the civil war and now,” he noted.
