MIKEL OBI NOT BEST FOR CONTE, AS HE DUMPS TALK ON THE NIGERIAN PLAYER

Chelsea head east for a big London derby, with a place in the fifth round at stake, and speaking to the media on Tuesday, Conte reported on John Terry, Kurt Zouma, Cesc Fabregas, Branislav Ivanovic and others without a single word on Mikel.

According to Conte, "He’s (Terry) fit to start, he’s in good shape. Tomorrow I will decide the starting 11 but John’s fit and he’s been training well.

The Italian went on to speak about Branislav Ivanovic and Cesc Fabregas, who have both been sidelined through injury in recent weeks.

"Ivanovic is better, he started to train with us from yesterday but it’s normal after an injury that he needs a bit of time to come back.

"Cesc is still not well, we must wait because he had a muscular problem. We must be patient but I hope to see him training with the team very soon."

On the return of Kurt Zouma, the manager added: "I'm pleased about this because Zouma is a young player but a good player. After the West Ham game, I hope to see him working with us in training. I’m very happy he played with the Under-23s and he had a good response in terms of the physical aspect." Conte said as quoted on the Blues' website.

Mikel who enjoyed somewhat of a renaissance under Guus Hiddink last season is out of favour under the Italian coach as he is yet to make a single appearance for the Blues this season.
